I really connected with this episode. Can anyone recommend similar episodes? Does anyone know what type of group or organization offers programs to do with attachment styles, intimacy, and “love addiction” (I know it’s a real thing). I love near Toronto, Canada.

Like Dan who posted above, I really loved this episode, for so many reasons. One was how Gabby opened with ‘I don’t think I have anything interesting to tell’ and then proceeded to share so many moving and relatable things.

I learned a lot from Gabby, and I loved being witness to the sweet, comfortable connection between Paul and Gabby.

When Gabby said that ‘feeling seen was her heroin’, I somehow felt less shame about my own situation, and more warmth and acceptance.

I’m starting to understand that I have this same problem. It isn’t really a ‘thing’ here in The Netherlands, love addiction, so I’m still in the early stages of grappling with this.

Luckily I’ve dealt with many other addictions before, so I can apply some of the same things now, though not all.

Thank you both, Gabby and Paul, you help me so very much.
