    I listened to the podcast about codependency- I never really considered myself as a codependent person. But I related to the “being overly nice” to the barista or being overly thankful. I have worked in retail, customer service etc and I am a decent amount of thankful when being waited on just because I understand how shitty people can be and how one actual kind person can remind you that not everyone sucks.
