Breaking your own heart.....

Postby Rosie » May 30th, 2012, 2:47 pm

Another Kelly Clarkson that's seems to get to the heart of me and my journey down the lonely road...Keeping myself from falling in love and walking away when things go wrong. I know I have to change to find happiness but I find it very hard anyone in...

Shaking your head like it's all wrong
Before you're here you're already gone
And even with the light all around you
You're all alone in the dark.
You're breaking your own heart
Taking it too far down the lonely road
You say it's just one love
But when it's close enough you just let it go

The very thing you've been the most afraid of
You've been doing it from the start, breaking your own heart.
Too many tears, too many falls
It's easy to hear behind these walls
But you don't have to walk in the shadows
Life is so hard.

If only you let go of your fears.
You're breaking your heart
Taking your own heart down the lonely road
You say it's just one love
But when it's close enough you just let it go
The very thing you've been the most afraid of
You've been doing it from the start, breaking your own heart.
You're breaking your own heart

My favorite Kelly Clarkson song about past loves and being strong:

"I'm jaded but oh so lovely"

Don't just listen to sad songs, Rosie.
PERSEVERANCE!

Ugh, "Breaking Your Own Heart" is the story of my life. It has had me thinking a lot lately about my mother telling me I was cold-hearted & no one could ever love me because I wouldn't let them when I was fifteen. I feel like I've lived down to that hateful statement.
