Definitely agree with Maria Bamford and Patton Oswalt. Perhaps Margaret Cho.

I would like to hear more from "average Joes." I love hearing the stories of these comedians, absolutely, but the average person feels a little more accessible to me. I know famous people "are people too," but they have the added addition of "being known." I'd like to hear from the everyday person and how they cope with illness and how it's touched them.

Lisa Lampanelli, please. After watching her on Celebrity Apprentice, I know that girl has issues and would love to see her drop her guard and talk about what makes her so mean.
David Spade.
Patton Oswalt.
Lynette Carolla
Joaquin Phoenix
I know I'm no longer talking about comics, but it would be good to expand to other creative types.

I've seen Dr. Drew and Chris Hardwick suggested and I'd love to hear those interviews. Also, I recently read a memoir by comedian Sara Benincasa where she talked about her anxiety and agoraphobia so severe that she became afraid to leave her bedroom even to use the bathroom and was peeing into cereal bowls. I think she'd be a really interesting guest as well.

After listening to Riki Lindhome and Pete Holmes on her podcast, I'd love to hear them both interviewed. I think some interesting things may lay beneath the surface...

I'll bet Frank Warren would be great. He's the Post Secret guy.

I see someone's Chris Hardwick wish came true today. :)

Riki Lindhome is pretty interesting. I just listened to her on Alison Rosen's podcast.

I'm all for Lisa Lampanelli too...

Lynette Carolla as well. Lynette's family's mental health issues (bipolar mother, schizophrenic brother) have been discussed on various ACE podcasts but I haven't listened to her own podcast enough to know if she's gone into more detail there. I really wonder how those Carolla twins are going to turn out. Interesting genetics/nature case study going on there. :)

Dan Savage. This podcast would be a great place to talk about LGBT issues and the It Gets Better Project.

I agree with everyone that has said Maria Bamford. I would absolutely love to hear her talk with Paul.

Canadian Olympian Clara Hughes would also be a great guest. She loves to talk openly and honestly about her struggles, fighting through depression to become the 4th athlete to win medals at both the summer and winter Olympics. (I'm not counting the dude who won a figure skating medal in the summer games, why would they ice skate in the summer??)
She is also the spokesperson for a National Campaign to bring awareness to and break down the stigma of mental illness.

Mike Birbiglia! I can't believe I hadn't thought of this before, but it clicked when I found out Marc Maron is in Sleepwalk With Me...
